Since Joining Destination Hotels in 1999 Kevin has held sales leadership positions at The Inverness Hotel, Terranea Resort and the national sales team.  He currently serves as Vice President of Global Group Sales for Two Roads Hospitality the parent company for Destination Hotels, Alila Hotels and Resorts, Joie de Vivre Hotels, Thompson Hotels, and tommie hotels.  He is inspired by a dedicated team of sales professionals who serve from their heart and are committed to creating exceptional meeting experiences for their customers.  He holds a Bachelor Degree in Restaurant Hotel Management from Keuka College and a certificate of completion in Kitchen Production Management from Swiss Hotel Management School “Les Roches.”  In addition, he completed the management training course at Walt Disney World’s Disney University.  He calls Colorado home, but is a modern nomad and has traveled to all seven continents.


Joseph Angelini III

Global Director of International Sales

Joe is our International Global Director with 13 year’s experience in the field and a demonstrated history of working in the boutique hospitality industry. Skilled in revenue management, marketing, hospitality management, and hotel management, Joe graduated from Fairfield University with marketing and revenue certifications from Cornell University. Through his experience with Lifestyle companies such as Melia Hotels International, Morgans Hotels Group and Kimpton Hotels, he maintains elite contacts and relationships in the hospitality world ranging from hotels, restaurants, nightlife and ownership/development. He is our ambassador to the international world both inbound and outbound.

Based at the Home Office in New York City, Joe is the lead contact for all International Transient accounts for the brands while developing the MICE group and Tour group markets. Joe works not only with on-property sales teams but also with the revenue departments, with the goal of creating overall brand standards and strategies to move market share and increase revpar. Joe is the primary contact for anything international relating to Two Roads Hospitality.

Mr. Chicago - Bob has been active in the Chicago area for over 20 years, with Global Sales Experience, Chicago Convention and Visitors Bureau. In his 10+ years with us, he has brought Destination Hotels to the Incentive, Insurance and Financial Worlds. Member of FICP, Served as Chair of the Hospitably Partners Advisory Council of FICP (Financial and Insurance Planners). Collaborating and finding unique and distinctive Destinations for his clients meetings and events is his passion. In his free time you will find him enjoying the Chicago lakefront biking or flying kites, or enjoying the amazing food and beverages the city has to offer.

Lis Chmiel is the Director of Global Sales at Two Roads Hospitality. In this role, Lis will oversee account management of global group for the Financial, Banking, Consulting and Insurance segments.
Previously with Starwood Hotels and Resorts for 16 years, Lis was based in New York leading the Banking and Financial segment globally.  Prior to joining Starwood, Lis worked in the hospitality industry where she assisted with the opening of the Four Seasons Hotel, Singapore and the Mandarin Oriental, Singapore. She was also part of the pre-opening team for the Roosevelt Hotel in New York City, and a Room Division Manager at the Radisson Hotel in Englewood, New Jersey.
Residing in New Jersey with her husband Christopher, ten-year-old son, Tyler and her eight-year-old daughter Kayla.  Her passion is traveling, food, wine and watching her son’s play ice hockey.
Lis has a Master’s degree in Hotel Management from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.  In her current role, she would be home base in New Jersey as well as Two Roads New York office.

Julie has been working in the hospitality industry for 33 years and is a member of, AMP’s, MPI, PMPI and PCMA and the National Association of Professional Women. Julie has been with Destination Hotels since April 13, 2009.

Julie is active in the Wild Horse Preservation League of the United States, Equine Rescue League of the United States, Great Pyrenees Rescue of the US, and works very closely with the Battered Women’s Task Force in Northern Virginia.

Julie has been married to Alfred Baniowski for 40 years; she has 3 children, Rachael, Aaron and Ariel. Julie resides in Northern Virginia with her husband, 3 horses and 5 dogs!

Vice President of Global Sales, Travel Industry

Based at the Home Office in San Francisco, Peter will be leading the Global Travel Industry team and serve as your one stop shop when needing assistance from the Global Team. He will be the key contact for all consortia relationships such as Carlson Wagonlit, ABC, Hickory, Thor, Radius, CCRA and BCD.  Peter will also lead sales efforts for Preferred Corporate Accounts and Leisure Travel Agencies on the West Coast until that position is filled in the near future.

Kathie Giles

Kathie Giles joined Destination Hotels & Resorts in July of 2013, as Director of Global Sales for the Southwest Region. Having come to Destination Hotels & Resorts from her extensive tenure with Marriott International, Kathie has over 25 years in the hospitality industry, with over 7 years on the Global Sales Organization side. Kathie has been highly dedicated to servicing National Fortune 500 accounts in the US and all markets. Prior to joining Destination Hotels, Kathie spent time on the East Coast representing boutique hotels and also in Chicago for seven years with Marriott Global Sales organization. She has also started her lengthy career with Hilton International, and has a Convention and Visitor’s Bureau background as well.

After graduating from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Communications Studies degree, Kathie decided to shed the Canadian cold for sunny Southern California. She then traversed the United States, but is now back in Southern California Wine Country of Temecula. Weekends and summertime are made for enjoying hiking, biking, horseback riding and heading to the beach. Kathie resides with her daughter and animals, and is heavily involved in the Villa Chardonnay Horse Rescue.

Christine Goldberg, Director of Global Sales in the Northeast, has been with Two Roads Hospitality for the past three years. Christine’s hospitality career began at Delano Hotel in South Beach over 14 years ago where she worked in operations then found her passion and skills in sales. She stayed with Morgans Hotel Group for 10 years before joining Two Roads Hospitality. Making a positive contribution in someone’s life is her driving force. Christine traded the sunshine and beaches of Miami for life in the Big Apple. She resides in New York with her husband and children.

Leslie Kaminski

Director, Travel Industry Sales

Leslie has been with Destination Hotels for 11 years, and her expertise is within strategic account management and leisure travel. She has been in the hotel industry 20 years and started her career in Dallas, TX.

Leslie loves to travel to new places around the word and spend time at her new house in Miami with her husband, Frank, and two dogs.


Colleen McCollum

Global Director of Sales, Business Travel

Colleen is based at the Home Office in New York, handling the top Corporate Accounts for the brand in the Eastern Region and London. She is also leading the efforts with HRG & Flight Centre consortias. She will be assisting Leslie with leisure and business Accounts such as AMEX & Altour Business division.  Colleen is the primary contact for Regional travel agencies such as Frosch, Ovation and Ultramar based in NYC. During RFP season she is the liaison with Lanyon, Distribution Dept. and the client for ease of managing the RFP process. She will be active in ACTE and leading the GBTA trade show efforts.


Armel Reyes

Armel Reyes is the Director of Global Sales for Two Roads Hospitality (the award winning, largest, independent, lifestyle, boutique hotel brand) overseeing the Northern California, Pacific Northwest and the Entertainment market.   With a penchant on building relationships, in his 23 years in the Hospitality Industry, he has gathered some of the best connections (and more importantly friendships) within the groups and meeting industry.   His pedigree comes from sales and hotel operations experience working at other hotel brands such as Renaissance, Marriott, Intercontinental and Kimpton Hotels. His clients include Accenture,, Amazon, Genentech, GAP, USF, Hearsay Social, Facebook, Nike, Intel and pretty much every entertainer that has hit the Billboard 100.

Armel has always had a passion for art since winning the “Blue Ribbon” prize for a Walrus drawing he did in the 1st grade and “Minored” in art history in college.  He has kept this passion alive by becoming an avid art collector and can be seen at art auctions and galleries in the Bay Area on most weekends.
